Design and Garden Landscapes Ltd have become a one-stop creative hothouse for landscape design and construction. We spend time with clients working out what their wants and needs are for their garden space, then sit down with pen in hand and bring those thoughts to life through practical and creative garden design solutions. It is this focus on design first which keeps us ahead of the rest when it comes to creating truly inspirational gardens.

We keep all landscape design work in-house so that once the garden has been designed for a client we can put it together with no separation between the design and construction phases. This ensures a quality that out-sourcing cannot match.

This approach to landscape design and construction has been recognised time and again and since 2002 Dunedin based Design and Garden Landscapes Ltd has won awards for landscape design and construction in the bi-annual Landscaping New Zealand Awards programme (formerly LIANZ: The Landscape Industries Association of NZ). Landscaping New Zealand is a national organisation set up to promote excellence in the landscape industry, with members throughout New Zealand.

Landscaping New Zealand members are involved in different areas of the landscape industry, from landscape design, construction and horticulture to contract management and landscape maintenance. All Accredited Members have had their work critiqued by a membership committee and all clients have an assurance that the members they are using are totally focused on quality and providing the best service for them.

Design and Garden Landscapes Ltd have been involved in the Awards programme since 2002, and each time have picked up Awards in garden design and construction and this year’s Awards have picked up the HORIZON INTERNATIONAL LANDSCAPE OF THE YEAR AWARD for the KUNAC GARDEN and were awarded the Premiere Award BEST USE OF NZ NATIVE PLANTS for the KUNAC GARDEN, for the second year in a row following the HOTERE PUBLIC GARDEN at PORT CHALMERS in Dunedin.

Having been in business for over 19 years, Design and Garden Landscapes Ltd have built our business up to cover a wide range of skills and our staff are highly skilled tradesmen that are the backbone to our business, from the design board concepts to planting design, and then onto the on site construction, we will work with you to provide a complete landscape service that we pride ourselves in.
